On a daily basis I come across more individuals and couples focusing on financial settlement than on their children’s future arrangements.
Unfortunately, some people believe once they financially separate or get the Divorce Order to complete their divorce application, they will no longer have to deal with their former partner. If you have children, this is usually not the case – you will always be linked to the other parent because of your children.
There is more to consider with making children’s arrangements than child support or the division of time the child(ren) spend with each parent.
